Hello

WEll it has certainly been awhile since I have written. Lots going on. My son starts kindergarten this week and that means only one kiddo left to be in school... I start school the following week myself. Finally going to finish my English degree, then I can finish the other stuff that I need to after that. So will have a bachelor's in about a year and a half and then I can go get my certification for Sign Language interpreting and maybe even start a Master's program for something. Yeah I way over plan and then let myself down when it doesn't happen, but I actually plan on all that stuff to happen so we'll see. I will have a few more socks to post about here in a few weeks so we'll see how it goes. Have a good back to school time.....

Sorry the pic isn't better the corner of the toe is chewed up and that one lone hole there in the middle just weird. Any help would be great.

A Sock A Sock A Pie?

Finally I have finished one of the pair of Hot Pepto. These are just a basic stock stitch sock, toe up, made from Tofutsies in color #731. Which to me is a hot pink which in turn reminds me of Pepto Bismol. Hence, Hot Pepto. The second sock should be done within the next day or so. The husband had hernia surgery this week so have had tons of time to run around town apparently. I've had so much time that I made a lemon pie for friends husband. Picks are ready to be seen so enjoy...

Hanging in there

Well it is that wonderful time of year again. HALLOWEEN!! I enjoy it for the kids I could care less unless of course they get good candy.... Well things are VERY SLOWLY getting better we are talking and of course that is good. We still have some issues and after his hernia surgery I am going to get us into some counseling. I think the 3rd party person will help. Right now he is sick on top of the hernia and I am sick and the baby is sick. The middle one is so tired of being by himself that he is acting out all the time. No big surprise. Am almost finished with 1st of pink stripe knee socks for oldest dd. one more inch then changing to the smaller needles to finish off the sock. Then will start the dreaded second sock. This week will try to restart my mardi gras socks. Maybe get memaw's socks going too. She got her casts off this last thursday and has hard velcro splints. This should help her spirits alot. My aunt took her and my uncle to see her sister up in Wichita. Would have loved to been there for that visit. OH WELL. All for now going to go read and maybe knit that inch to move the smaller needles on.

UMMMMM...Trying to relax

Well has been a while since my last post. I asked one of my friends to read my last entry and check back with me and well she was scared that I was really depressed and possibly suicidal. Well I did confirm with her that I am not suicidal and that I was just really really upset. Also set her mind to rest that to commit suicide I would actually have to hurt myself in some way. Not being big on actual pain I assured her that that was not going to happen. Things are going slow and not to my time frame but that is to be expected I guess. Right now he is content to have me here and just hang out with him. Fine. It is a start. Found out this week he has a hernia and will have surgery soon. He meets with the surgeon on Monday. Hope that goes well. I do not want to leave. I have told him this several times and he just looks at me oddly. I can see him thinking, choosing his words trying out how to tell me to leave but not really doing that. I just don't know what I can tell him and what I can't. Not that he would use that information against me but I just don't trust him right now. I don't want the kids to suffer because he is an idiot right now. I don't have to go out and start over. I don't know what I would take with me and what I wouldn't. So frustrating. Anyway sock pics are slow in coming because he lost our digital camera, luckily we needed an upgrade in that department. So have to borrow one and get the pics up fast. All for now.....
