UPDATES

Well I am currently on vacation in Oklahoma. AAAANNNNDDDD, it is so far going well but have had some quirks happen. My grandmothers socks that I was knitting for her I frogged on the way down here and that was irritating more than anything. Then we get to Missouri and we got to buy 2 new tires because we were down to the steel belt on one of them and didn't even realize it when we left. How fun was that. We get to my parents and every person in our family is waiting at their house to see the kids. We were so not in the mood for that. Then my and Larry had a huge "discussion" about our marriage which is quite rocky at the moment. So much so that I wasn't sure that I would get to go back home for my things. But that is a little better. We are here 4 days and my grandfather who is 87 goes into the hospital and my husband is moving us into our new house on base and pepaw is still in the hospital and it doesn't look like he will be coming home and if, IF, he does come home it will be a matter of weeks maybe a month and I'll be back here for a funeral. To top it off my husband isn't answering his phone. Not sure what is up with that. The one time that I call to talk to him and he isn't answering his phone. I am really ticked about that. During all of this I started a pair of socks for pepaw and got to the foot and turned the heel when I decided that it would be better to frog it and use the yarn for a different project. I really don't think that he would get to see them. I don't have the heart to tell my grandmother that. She is really upset now and I don't really ever remember seeing her like that before and I don't think that I really need to either. I guess that is all for now. My rant of the vacation. Never a vacation just a mini travelling circus...

Hi. Got to reading some of your blog, since you replied to mine. I hope that "huge discussion" about your marriage turns out to be nothing but a little bump in the road on your way back home. May God's blessing be upon you and your family should you lose your pepaw, but I hope it doesn't come to that. You'll have to keep us all posted.
